Final presentation slides for Fun-fixed Onto Wall Learning Aid.

Holistic and Unity

The idea of creating circular motions as a structured learning aid is to help represent the unity. Unity means the quality in individuals to do some work as a unit without jeopardizing the individual interest in any way as far as the result of the work is concerned. Unity refers to the state of being united or together. It is the feeling of oneness, togetherness, harmony, for a common goal. It is a kind of co-operation or harmony for a common cause. Unity refers to a situation where many people join together to make a much bigger work, and collectively put forth their energy to achieve that.

The idea was basically to stack the coloured pipes with different diameters along the wall and it would create a diagonal shape to fill up the corner. There would be foam going in between the pipes attaching from different holes. When they push the foam in. The foam will come out from another hole, so that they could have the push and pull tension to release the stress and boredom. In between we would put the magnet's sheet cutter into a circle and fit in between  the pipes.

The concept of the design is being sketched out to show the ideation of the installation is for disabled users to re-introduce colours to users and give them the opportunity to learn about colour mixing. It also acts as a congregation point to encourage social interaction among users as colours can attract their attention. To make the interactive installation, transparent rubber pipes are assimilated into the design of the installation to enable users to push and pull the pipes in the process of learning about colours, spicing up their learning experience.

FLIPPING + MAGNETIC SCRABBLE + PUSH & PULL

The colourful disk can be flipped to reveal another colour. Each plate represents different colours, but when mixed together indicates the finish outcome according to its pipe colour. By rotating the plate, you can identify which colour both primary colours make.  What colours primary makes up Green? Yellow + Blue = Green
