Community Service Initiative
Before
The presentation day was held on the 11th October 2017, at the Meeting Room, PPOC Centre. The presentation started at 2pm and invited the PPOC Students to experience the learning aid created. Group 3 and 4 take the initiative to demonstrate the mechanism applied and explain in detail to the disable students on how the aid helps them to improve their learning. It was a successful demonstration where the majority of the students shows their interest to participate during the session. The session ended at 4pm.
The objective was finally achieved.
To helps the disabled to develop and achieve their maximum potential,
in order for them to improve their quality of life.
Thank you to the PPOC Centre for allowing us to contribute what we have learnt and shared the knowledge with the community in a good way. All the students have the opportunity to engage in social actions and chance to help out people who needs care. It is our young generation duty to improve the needs of people who need them. It was an interesting effort that they were given the unique opportunity to redesign a classroom space, something that is deeply rooted within their field.
The presentation went smoothly. We can feel a sense of happiness and satisfaction from the accomplishment that we had attained. We had changed the space of the classroom from something that looks very run down, to a new space that looks clean, creative, and a conducive learning space for the PPOC students.
This made us feel like all the sweat and hard work and time put into this to complete this Community Service was worth it. Hopefully we are able to achieve such community service work in the future. Before we left, we give a token of appreciation to the students for being so engaging on the day of the presentation itself. Without their support and participation, we unable to run the demonstration on the learning aid itself.
